Our Commitment to Animal Welfare
At Gentle Oak, we are deeply passionate about animals. Caring for them is not just our job—it's our calling. As part of our ongoing efforts to give back to society, we are committed to supporting animal welfare initiatives. We believe every animal deserves love, respect, and care, regardless of their circumstances.
We proudly partner with animal welfare organizations like Voices For Animals (VFA). We offer special rates for the sterilization of rescued animals from VFA and actively participate in fundraising events to support their incredible work.
Also by actively participating in annual fundraising events for groups such as VFA and ACRES(Animal Concerns Research and Education Society).
One of our most rewarding volunteer experiences was at Noah’s Ark, an animal sanctuary in Johor Bahru. Home to over 1,000 animals—including 700 dogs, 300 cats, and a variety of other species—Noah’s Ark provides a safe haven for those in need. The Gentle Oak team, under the leadership of our head veterinarian Dr. Lee Yee Lin, dedicated a full day of service to Noah’s Ark, performing 8 surgeries, including sterilizations, limb amputations, lumpectomies, and ear canal resections. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Noah’s Ark for the incredible care they provide to animals in need and for giving us the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful cause.
