Dr Alice Liaw
BSC BVMS HONS (MURDOCH)
Ever since she was young, Dr Alice has always known that she wanted to become a Veterinarian. Her love for animals began when she and her siblings started playing with and feeding the community cats.
After graduating from Murdoch University in 2011, Dr Alice returned to Singapore to work in a busy small animal practice. During this time, she developed a keen interest in Internal Medicine and Feline Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine course in 2014 with the Center of Veterinary Education (University of Sydney). She is currently undertaking her Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Western Herbal Medicine as she believes in a holistic approach when it comes to treating her patients.
Dr Alice strongly believes in helping the needy and the voiceless. She volunteers regularly at Noah's Ark Natural Animal Sanctuary in Malaysia, providing medical treatments and surgeries to strays and abandoned animals.
Dr Alice recently adopted an old ex-breeding French Bulldog named Billie. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, eating and spending time with her dog.
